Well....it's taken a year but the first release on our label is finally here. It's a collection of eight Jim O'Baid originals and three songs from other writers that have been favorites of Jim's for a while. This is a singer/songwriter CD so there are a lot of different styles of music. Listen to the 3 cuts here and if you like them, we're sure you'll enjoy the whole CD.
"Wouldn't I Know"
"This Is My Heart"
"Closer To Jesus"

The artist below is Angel Pontier. Talk about a talented woman. Besides being an excellent singer/songwriter, she is one heck of a producer and studio engineer. Take a listen to these three songs and you'll probably want to hear more.
"Don't You Know How Much I Love You"
"Be My Strength"
"Pearly Gates"

The following are cuts from the CD "In Color" from the Steve Schuffert Band. If you love Rock 'n' Roll, you're gonna love these guys. Take a listen!!
The STEVE SCHUFFERT BAND is a three piece high energy blues based rock band currently on FORTUNE RECORDS (UK). They have released 3 CDs in Europe, where they have also completed seven major tours. These tours consisted of their own shows as headliners as well as opening for some of Rock 'n' Roll's biggest names.
The band was one of only five independent label acts to be invited to play at the MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL in the summer of 2001. They have received extensive airplay and chart success in Europe as well.
Regionally, the band has performed throughout the southeastern United States, with their home base being Nashville, TN. This hardworking professional unit has been thrilling crowds for the past 14 years and still contains the original members. The live show not includes tremendous original music but also classics by Jimmi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, as well as others.
As a professional songwriter, Steve has had his songs recorded by the likes of such diverse artists as: T. Graham Brown, Mark Collie, Tommy Castro, Kenny Rogers and the living legend himself, George Jones. In addition, Steve has had some of his material recorded and released in feature film soundtracks.
Backup Man
Lonely Angel
Down To The Bone

This next project is something completely different. It speaks to those Christians who believe in a place called Purgatory. I won't get into the explanation here because it is spelled out so well in the liner notes on the CD. The song itself was written by two of my fellow parishioners, Frank Myers (who also has written many hit songs including "I Swear") and Greg Rausch.
All proceeds from this project are going to a very worthy cause. St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin, TN is in the midst of building an elementary school and this CD is being sold to help finance the project.
You can download the song here but to really appreciate what this is all about, you are going to want to purchase the CD itself.

Darren Holden is one of Ireland's most talented and popular young performers. Born in County Kilkenny, Darren put together his first band at the age of 16. The band, Tweed, developed an excellent reputation for its country-rock sensibilities, and toured extensively in the UK, Europe, and the US. After Tweed disbanded, Darren concentrated on songwriting, winning several prizes in the ŒIrish Song for Europe¹ competitions, as well as composing awards in various competitions in Finland, Sweden, Greece, Los Angeles, Kiev and Kazakhstan. One of his tracks, 'After Tonight' was released domestically and peaked in the top ten of the Irish national charts.
In 1995, Darren came to the attention of Louis Walsh, who asked him to support Boyzone on their first major tour of Ireland and the UK. During this period, Darren worked with producer Ray Hedges (Boyzone, B*Witched), and had top ten hits in Ireland with 'After Tonight' and a cover of Leo Sayer's 'More Than I Can Say'. In the summer of 1998, he toured as a guest artist to various festivals with artists such as Paul Young, Peter Andre, and Belinda Carlisle. He collaborated with country artist Rodney Crowell on a track, ŒWendy¹s World¹, as part of the Celtic Harmony Festival. He also collaborated with R&B artist Montell Jordan on a track, 'It Will Always Be You', and has worked with Boyzone's Mikey Graham and Alan Roy Scott.
Darren's debut solo album, 'Suddenly', was released in Ireland at the end of 1998. The album contained three top 20 hits, and the national Irish music radio station, 2FM, gave it 'Album of the Week' status. A few months later, Darren was cast as a lead singer in the Irish spectacular 'Riverdance', with which he has performed on Broadway and on tour for over two years.
In early 2001, during the Broadway run of 'Riverdance', Darren met producer/writer Don DiNicola. They began working together writing and recording a CD of original traditional/contemporary country songs. Several recording sessions took place in Nashville where Darren was warmly and enthusiastically received. His first single, 'Blood and Smoke', was released in September 2002 in conjunction with Blacksmith/Ark21/Universal and peaked at #50. The new album Darren Holden Live & Learn is scheduled for release, 6/1/03 on Doubledee Music, with the new single Ecstatic Electricity to hit the airwaves by 6/15/03.

This is a real entertainer. His name is Lucio. This first CD project will bring you an understanding of his vision of Rock 'n' Roll and what love means to him. He has been on the same FAN FAIR stage as such wonderful entertainers as: Billy Joe Royal; Percy Sledge and Mel McDaniel. He's performed in videos with the Kentucky Headhunters, Lacy J. Dalton and Marty Stuart. His credits are too numerous to list here.
Besides all this he is a tremendous guitarist and record producer. If you need help with anything studio related you can E-mail him at LDT studios slao8@comcast.net
Here are cuts 2,4 and 7 from this CD.
She's All The Woman I'll Ever Need
We've Got To Try
One Of Those Things
*SOLSTAR* is an original "groove rock" band from Long Island, NY featuring the songwriting and vocal talents of Lisa Itts. Our music is melodic, modern rock with just the right amount of "edge". We've recorded 2 CDs and are currently at work on our 3rd recording project.
Lisa Itts, (composer, lead vocals & guitar) a musician from early on, started playing guitar at the age of nine. She was first discovered by Peter Yarrow of "Peter, Paul and Mary". She attended Nassau Community College and minored in music. There, she added piano to her repertoire of instruments. After graduating, Lisa started her own children's entertainment company. She performs at parties as well as her own gigs, and teaches guitar, piano and voice. She has worked in several projects, including an R&B vocal quartet, co-produced by "Quick" from Epic Records. She has also done work for Dennis King, producer for such world renowned bands as "Motley Crue" and "Chic". Lisa has toured extensively in the New York Tri-state area at such venues as the ever-popular C.B.G.B.'s and The Bitter End, N.Y.C. She has performed and recorded with guitarist extraordinaire, Larry Mitchell of "Tracy Chapman" and "Rick Okasek's" bands, and bassmaster, Schuyler Deale of "Michael Bolton" and "Billy Joel". She has also opened for such musical staples as the "The Band".
The following are cuts from the second CD project. I was amazed that this group had not been picked up by a major label as yet. Take a listen!!
