Need help understanding the business of music?  We are here to help.  There are a lot of bad choices you can make.  One of which is thinking you know everything you need to know.  This business of music is a continual learning process.  If you have questions, post them at our message board and make sure you leave an e-mail address so we can answer you directly. 

The Nashville Songwriters Network was created by Jim O'Baid.  He is a singer/songwriter primarily.  He has, however, worked as a "Writers Nite" host, a music journalist, songplugger and artist manager.

Through twenty years of pounding the pavement in Nashville, Jim has learned a great deal about the music industry.  Of course he also doesn't know everything.  This is a forum for all to impart some wisdom to each other.  If you have an approach which has worked for you, let us know.
